Preschool LOVES Science!!!! Who says you can't build a snowman in Georgia, this winter? We made a snowman by freezing water in balloons. We discussed how many balls are needed to build a snowman-3. We reinforced small, medium large. We used some table salt to stick our ice balles together. We decorated him with felt features. The fun began as we observed him melt throughout the day. The children would get so excited when his head slid off or we heard a big crack in the ice. It was fun to watch the time lapsed video of our snowman, with music. Thank you Mrs. Master! Check out the Flipgram that Mrs. Master made of our class snowman, http://flipagram.com/f/QEsLputa7y After a two week break, preschool came back ready to learn! Our month was filled with all things cold and snowy! We read The Mitten, All You Need for a Snowman, Snowballs, Polar Bear Polar Bear What Do You Hear?, and Snowmen at Night. The children dressed up like snowmen, down to the broom and hat!
